Using State-of-the-Art Technology in Orthodontics

Our Technology
The highest-quality care involves the effectiveness of the doctor along with the many benefits of the state-of-the-art technology. Diagnosing each orthodontic problem is paramount in formulating the treatment options available and then selecting the proper treatment plan for each patient.
Computer System
Our computer system is state-of-the-art, designed to manage our practice smoothly and efficiently. Patient information, financial information, insurance benefits, digital photographs, and digital radiographs are all stored on the computer software and readily available. We can communicate effectively with patients, referring dentists, and insurance companies. We have a computerized patient “sign-in” system upon arrival at our office.

Digital Radiography
We use the most current digital x-ray machine on the market today: Soredex Cranex D. This x-ray machine is made specifically for orthodontists and provides superior diagnostic panoramic and cephalometric images. It automatically sets proper exposure for each patient and ensures minimal exposure to radiation. The images can be viewed immediately and placed in the patient record electronically. Our computer software allows us to digitally trace the cephalometric image to gain the most diagnostic value.
Digital Photographic Images
All of our patients have digital photographs made at the time of diagnostic records with our digital camera. These images are made of the face and inside the mouth. These images are used to document the original problem, aid in treatment planning, and as comparison with the orthodontic changes that occur. These images are also stored electronically in the patients record.
