Dr. John Baker
Dr. John Baker is happily smiling

Dr. Baker was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He attended Westhampton Beach High School, where he co-founded and led the school’s first robotics team as lead programmer and captain. Under his leadership, the team won the Long Island Regional and advanced to the world championship in St. Louis.

He pursued his undergraduate studies at St. Joseph’s College, graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in biology, where he was ranked first in his major and earned departmental honors. Dr. Baker then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, graduating with the highest honors in clinical science. He completed his post-doctoral training at the University at Buffalo, where he obtained both a Master of Science degree and an Advanced Education Certificate in Orthodontics.

During his time at Buffalo, Dr. Baker received a research grant from the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation for his innovative capstone thesis. His project involved designing and 3D printing customized orthodontic brackets and testing their effectiveness in space closure within the Dental Materials Laboratory at the University at Buffalo. He presented preliminary findings at Student Research Day and shared advanced data at the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists annual meeting. He is now preparing his research for publication in orthodontic journals. Dr. Baker is passionate about crafting personalized, long-lasting smiles using the latest in digital orthodontics and advanced clear aligner therapy.
